I primarily use traditional joinery techniques on domestically grown hardwoods and custom craft each piece to last a lifetime. The challenge, and much of the pleasure in furniture design is to maintain a fluent, subdued, and honest elegance.
I use domestic hardwoods selectively, choosing grain patterns as the principal adornment. Exposed joinery and hand-cut dovetails enhance the design, while ensuring strength and integrity.

I apply a hand-rubbed, rich danish oil finish to bring out the warmth in the wood. For me, a piece of fine furniture crafted simply and solidly should impart a captivating pleasant feel that outlasts trend and age.
